GMA in a few hours

Posted Sun, Mar 26th 9:58PM by Grace Lee

I'm in New York, having just flown here today, to appear on Good Morning America tomorrow morning. i'm a bit nervous because I really don't know what to expect. I'm staying at a hotel across the street from the GMA studio in Times Square -- an area I almost never come to when I visit New York (except of course to see plays!)

Anyway, the flight getting here was delayed from Denver, so I subsequently missed getting dinner with a friend and had to settle for wonton soup from Ollie's on 44th and Broadway. The car service driver who picked me up from Newark was a Chinese American New Yorker...whose daughter's name is, I am not kidding, Grace Gee. GEE! Jimmy, her father, was the first Asian fire fighter in New York City -- and that was only in 1970. Nice guy. I enjoyed chatting with him on the drive over.

Anyway, it is only 9pm in LA, but I better go to sleep now otherwise I will be looking like the living dead tomorrow.

Here we go!
